Dear one in Christ,
As we climb higher, we’ll have a better view of things. We tend to have a better understanding as to why certain things happened in the past. Joseph learned administration as a slave, Moses learned to pastor in the wilderness as a shepherd and David learned war as he lived in caves and jungles as a fugitive. Joseph did not remain a slave, Moses is known not as a shepherd and David became the greatest king of Israel. These men went through extraordinarily tough situations just to have etched their names to the history of nations.
I have heard many people say ‘History repeats itself”. Well, I think it is right. We, together, born to ordinary men, are going to have our names etched to the history of the nations. Call me cheeky, but I would like to call it faith. What is going to happen is not with our merit, but by His grace. This is not going to happen with what we have, but because of the One who is with us!
The previous month was spectacular. I know you must have got tired hearing this over and over again. What else to say? It happened to be way much glorious than the previous months. I’ll tell you why.
Ministry Training Camp at Thattekkadu:
I was moved in my spirit to take the core leadership to a Retreat. This materialized after the Vagamon Camp. Men 51 in number who handle duties of utmost importance attended. These men were my God given treasure whom I depend to execute the vision the Lord gave me. It was important for me to spend time with them and impart as much I could to build and make them strong, for each one of them were called to hold thousands of others who are part of this movement called The Master Ministries. I taught and I learned from them.
One day during the Retreat the Holy Spirit moved my heart to wash the feet of my leaders. Oh, it was such a great time. I washed the feet of those who stood in the second rung of the hierarchy. They washed those who were reporting to them. The Holy Spirit swept across the place as we put on the humility of Christ. I don’t know if there was a single eye that was not wet. So we left the place, bonded in spirit and determined in heart that we’ll stand for the Lord whatever it takes.
Empowering Men 2010
Thattekkadu meeting encouraged me to hold a men’s meeting. Men have different roles (Just like women, I fully recognize the fact). Many struggle to maintain a proper balance. I thought we should do something to make men realize their call and potential so that they can fully function in their God destined position in family, society and church. So we decided to hold this men’s meeting. I talked about the various roles men have to fill in, fit in and adjust to, differences between the sexes etc. This meeting was first of its kind in the history of The Master Ministries. I know that I know that I know that many lives were transformed that day.
I believe that the Lord addresses specific needs of each person He gets to meet. As the ministry expanded, the Lord opened up ways by which we can minister to specific people groups. Praise be to God, we have development programs custom made for kids, teens, youth, business men, widows and others. I am expecting the Lord to move in a way that we would be able to minister to more specific groups.
Revival Prayer Fellowship based in Muscat organized its Annual Convention from 30th October to 4th of November in which I ministered. Bro. Sajith, our worship leader also accompanied me during this trip. There was an overflowing presence of the Holy Spirit as we ministered. Everyone present was dipped in a special anointing.
This time as the aircraft was preparing to land in Muscat airport, I asked the Lord for a word for the nation. Immediately a word came into my spirit: RESTORATION. I was led to preach on restoration of position, faith, blessing, glory family etc. People were thirsty, The Holy Spirit was willing and what happened is history!
I have ministered in many places in the Middle East. I believe that these people who live here need some “extra” to live a victorious life. I know in my heart that the anointing that flowed was not just intended to break the chains of those who came, but also to empower them to deliver others who have not come. I sensed a spiritual freedom coming over the country of Oman.
We also ministered in United Christian Fellowship - an English Church pastured by Ps. Lancy Aranha. I could not preach there. The Holy Spirit wouldn’t allow. Straight away He started ministering to people. I enjoyed it. It was lovely and incredible. Hallelujah!
I met families who once attended our church services in Cochin but later had to go to Oman for employment. It was such a joy to meet them all.
Royal Men’s Club - Raising Millionaires for Christ
The Body of Christ is in need of anointed businessmen to make money and use it for the glory of God. As you know it’s been a while since we started our Businessmen’s Fellowship. But after the ‘Set the Nations on Fire-International Power Conference’ this fellowship took a very important turn. The leaders tend to focus on the needs of the Church. This change in attitude brought about breakthroughs after breakthroughs in many of the businessmen’s lives. It became a phenomenon. Sometime during this season the Businessmen’s fellowship was renamed “Royal Men’s Club”.
On 27th September Ps. G.S. Srinivasan ministered in one of the breakfast meetings of the Royal Men’s Club. I was so very glad to see many leading businessmen and women who run reputed organizations in Cochin attended the meeting. It was a sweet time together for the businessmen as they pondered over the spiritual principles governing finances. I am sure that these people will be trend-setters who will rise and shine for the glory of God.
Kshama and I will be ministering in Kuwait this week from16th to 19th November, in “Revival 2010”, the Annual Convention of Revival Christian Church. Tell your friends in Kuwait, organize yourself in such a way so that you can bring in others. You will be richly rewarded with blessings from above.
Another Mega Crusade
Cochin Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Grounds is going to be yet another place where the Lord’s glory will be manifested. A celebration of the Lordship of Jesus over the City of Cochin will be held from 31st December, 2010 to 2nd January 2011. As we celebrate Him, He will manifest as the Lord, over sin, sickness, debt and curse. We are gearing ourselves up for deliverance and a harvest. Evg. P.S. Rambabu, Kshama and myself will be ministering. God willing other men of God will join us. However, I know that this event is going to make significant effect on the spiritual atmosphere of Cochin. We need your prayers and your presence in the meeting. Let us enter the New Year with true joy and celebration of a different kind. And believe me, the New Year will bring new things for you. Things you have never even dreamed of!!!!
Prayer walks and chain fasting have already begun. A team of leaders have been chosen to organize the whole event. And I am sure, great things are going to happen.
Many of you are aware of our African missions. Bro. Bossa Jonathan a Ugandan national who attended our ‘Set the Nations on Fire - International Power Conference 2010’ started a fellowship in his home town called Jinja, which he calls our church in that nation. This was also a clear indication from the Lord that we need to go and sow in African countries. So we are planning a “Set Uganda on fire – National Power Conference” and a mega crusade in Uganda, God willing, in April 2011. I request your prayers and financial support for this mission.
Now you know why I said this month was spectacular! Well thank you so much for your love and support. This could have never been possible without you. We love you and you are in our prayers.
Well, God bless you to enjoy another spectacular month.
Yours because of Calvary,
Ps. Damien and Kshama
